‘You are Brainless and Senseless’ – Gov. Amosun tells Angry Civil Servants

Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun, yesterday lashed out at aggrieved workers of the state civil service who have threatened to go on strike over unpaid allowances and wages.
Amosun, at a town hall meeting organized by the Ministry of Budget and Planning at June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, insisted he would not succumb to the demands of the workers.
According to him, it is insensitive of the workers to be threatening to go on strike even when the economic recession is biting hard on all states.
“We all know this, yet some are not using their brains. They don’t have brains and they don’t know what they are doing. They don’t have sense. I cannot give what I don’t have.
“Teachers alone collect N2 billion monthly. If you want to join politics go and resign, you can then become card carrying member of political parties, you can start printing posters if you want to contest” he said
Oh! Well, that’s a bit harsh. Should civil servants go hungry with their families because Nigeria economy is in recession? And to call them senseless is a senseless action, since you all politicians were the same people who enjoyed alone when fuel price was sky high.
Oga abeg, no transfer aggression. If you can’t cope with realities please resign your office honorably

The singer took to his Instagram account yesterday, October 21, 2016, to post a photo of himself with his Russian girlfriend, Carolina Wassmuth.
Flaunting what looks like a wedding ring, he captioned the shot, "Squad". It seems the ceremony was a secret one.
A fan also wished him a happy married life. In fans bid to know the truth after the rumour started circulating, THE man himself, May D made matters worse when he simpy responded with another instagram post stating that its nobody's buisness. He posted thus; “#nobodysbusinesss #alltheway” and
and posted another photo of Carolina, which he captioned ‘the bride herself’ … lol

Further inspection shows that the 'Ile Ijo' singer doesn't wear a ring on that finger prior to this photo he shared.
Meanwhile, May D recently released a new music featuring Starboy frontman Wizkid titled 'Bamilo'. This follows the singer's 'I wanna know' single released earlier in the year.
On the banging new track produced by Philkeys, the singers pride in their success story to woo a female interest.

Skulls smashed as train derail in cameroon killing 53


At least 55  people were killed and nearly 300 injured on Friday when a packed passenger train travelling between Cameroon's two largest cities derailed and overturned, the transportation minister said.
Speaking on state radio, Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo'o said the figures represented only a provisional toll from the accident, which occurred near the train station in the town of Eseka, around 120 km (75 miles) west of the capital, Yaounde.
The inter-city passenger train was travelling from Yaounde to the commercial capital, Douala, when the accident occurred around 11am local time.
"There was a loud noise. I looked back and the wagons behind us left the rails and started rolling over and over. There was a lot of smoke," said a Reuters journalist travelling in a wagon near the front of the train.
He said that, before its departure from Yaounde, a railway employee said additional wagons had been added to the train to accommodate extra passengers, though it was unclear if that played a role in the accident.
The collapse of a bridge along the main highway between the capital and Douala had prompted increased numbers of passengers to undertake the journey by rail.
"There are the bodies of women, children. There are many," said one employee of Camrail, which is operated by France's Bollore Railways, speaking from the scene of the accident. He said three of his colleagues were among the victims.
Joel Bineli, a passenger, told Reuters he saw the dismembered bodies on the tracks at the accident site.
Social media users posted photos taken at the scene of the accident which showed several wagons overturned on a slope beside the rail line.
"Rescue workers arrived and they are pulling bodies from the wagon. I've already counted around 40 bodies they've removed," said Rachelle Paden, another passenger.
Camrail said it had sent teams to the site and victims were being transported to a local hospital and to Douala. A Bollore spokesman would only confirm that an accident had occurred.
Many rail lines in west and central Africa have a reputation for poor maintenance and failing to respect safety norms. Derailments are relatively common.
We pray for the survivors for a quick recovery and condolence to the families of the deceased.
